Thank you for stopping by. Today you deserve a hug and to be told that you matter. Because you do! You are valuable and precious and your life counts. Come on in … you can stop in here and find a little quiet, a little slow, a little peace, a little piece of heaven.

Do you feel torn between the already and the not yet? Do you feel that you can experience the fullness of life that Jesus talks about, and, at the same time, you are overwhelmed by your inadequacy, your failure, your never-enough-ness, your to do lists that keep on growing? Come to the Cross of Christ. His arms and heart are wide open – for YOU. You can come just as you are, not as you should be. Come and stop, don’t rush by.

“Let us approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.” Hebrews 4:16

I live in a big, crazy, noisy, polluted, diverse, colorful city, but I am a farm girl at heart. I wish I was surrounded by endless fields and farm animal sounds. I wish I could hear the birds chirping. You can find my journey here. I may not wake up to the invigorating smell of the freshly cut grass, but my life is full and fulfilling. My Father provides many joys for me and He reminds me to stop and savor them. And, more importantly, to stop and savor Him. He is the best!

I am married to Bogdan, the love of my life. Having him as a husband is a gift I received when I was almost 34 years old. Singleness was an intense journey for me, having had all the feels while in that chapter of life. During that season I learned that my life can only be full and rich when Jesus is at its center. A lesson I am still learning while we are walking the journey of infertility. Because, you see, stories may not play out the way one imagines them when they sit on a porch on a long summer night. And it’s ok. We all have our stories and the Author uses all circumstances for our best. I believe that to the core of my being.

Bogdan and I are a family on mission. Bogdan is leading a sports ministry called EDGE, part of a wonderful organization called Josiah Venture, that serves in Central and Eastern Europe. I am the Executive Director of Lifesprings International, a “tribe” of women who want to connect, encourage and prepare women worldwide to impact their communities with the love of Jesus Christ. We are all about Jesus and all about his good Kingdom!

These are moments of grace in our journey. Not having our hearts or minds set on earthly things, but on things above. One day, I will walk on the greenest fields and jump and laugh and sing and enjoy the presence of my Lord forever. I hope to see you there.

I enjoy long walks outside and stopping to take thousands of pictures of little details I see throughout my days. So, my thing is – I’ve never regretted a photo I’ve taken. I’ve only regretted those that I didn’t take. Come and take a break on Farm Road. And come in for a cup of refreshing water or hot cocoa.
